Emmanuel Bunipele scored two goals in each half to stir FC Kallon-Liberia to a sweeping 4-1 victory against city rival, Paynesville FC.
Sunday’s win at the SKD Practice Pitch makes it two straight wins for the relegation-bound FC Kallon-Liberia prior to Cassell Anthony Kuoh Sr. takeover of the club.
The Paynesville based club pinned the defending champions LISCR FC in their previous league fixture to pickup their first three-point after five consecutive defeats.
Bunipele said, thus the victory against their city rival has strengthened the Club president and CEO vision to play in the first league next season, he and his teammates will keep pushing until FC Kallon-Liberia is out of the relegation zone.
“Despite of the four goals I scored I’m not satisfy because our objective hasn’t been met. With the help of my teammates we are going to fight to save our Club from being relegated.” Bunipele said after picking up his hat-trick ball.
Bunipele hat-trick plus one takes his goal tally in the league to 10, and moved his club two points away from safety.
FC Kallon-Liberia is level on 22 points with Invincible Eleven (IE), who won 1-0 against relegation-bound NPA Anchor over the weekend.
